Local theaters planning to show Betty White documentary on what would have been her 100th birthday
The upcoming documentary to celebrate Betty White's 100th birthday later this month will still be screened in theaters, just with a new title.
Posted — UpdatedWhite would have turned 100 on Jan. 17.
"Even though Betty was about to be 100, I thought she would live forever," Witjas told People magazine. "I will miss her terribly and so will the animal world that she loved so much. I don't think Betty ever feared passing because she always wanted to be with her most beloved husband Allen Ludden. She believed she would be with him again."
A documentary, originally titled "Betty White: 100 Years Young," was set to air in theaters across the country on Jan. 17. Producers have decided to change the name of the documentary to "Betty White: A Celebration" and turn the event into a tribute to White's career and life.
