Local ropes courses reopen for spring season

TreeRunner Raleigh Adventure Park and Go Ape, outdoor ropes courses and adventure parks in Raleigh, are both open for the spring season.

RALEIGH, N.C. — TreeRunner Raleigh Adventure Park and Go Ape, two outdoor ropes courses and adventure parks in Raleigh, are now open for the spring season.

TreeRunner is at 12804 Norwood Rd., Raleigh. It features ropes courses, zip lines and more than 70 different obstacles with varying difficulty levels. It includes a junior park for kids ages 4 to 7.

Go Ape is at Blue Jay Point County Park at 3200 Pleasant Union Church Rd. , Raleigh. It offers a Treetop Adventure with 41 different obstacles for ages 10 and up. Its Treetop Journey is designed for all ages.

Both courses have some requirements for masks, gloves and social distancing.
