A local restaurant wholesaler in Morrisville is now selling directly to public.

Restaurant Depot has locations nationwide including three in North Carolina in Cary, Charlotte and Greensboro.

According to a company representative, "Right now, we are temporarily open to the public. You may shop with a day pass, that you will receive at the door. Please note however, that spots are limited to the public each day, so better to go early in the day before they exceed their limit. Also, please note, no checks are accepted and no returns on products purchased during the COVID-19 crisis."

They are accepting all major credit cards and cash.

An employee from the Cary location indicated that you need to bring your driver's license and you will be issued a day pass to shop. You do not need to sign up for a membership online.

Keep in mind that many of the packages are larger since they sell in bulk to restaurants, but you could always split the purchase with a relative or neighbor. In addition, purchases may be limited due to stock availability.

They are also limiting to only 2 people per pass, so do not bring the whole family.

In addition, restaurants are still depending on this resource to buy food for their businesses so please only buy what you need.

The Restaurant Depot in Morrisville is located at 3901 Gateway Centre Boulevard, Morrisville, NC 27560.

See more information about the company including locations on their website.
Information about being open to the public can be found on their Facebook page.
