Llamita, a Spinoff of Llama Inn, Opens in the Village

NEW YORK — Chef Erik Ramirez and his partner in Llama Inn — the well-received Peruvian restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn — are opening a compact fast-casual Manhattan spinoff where specialties like Peruvian-style rotisserie chicken are sold to eat on the spot or to go. Sandwiches made with beef, chicken, pork, seafood, vegetables or duck sausage are stuffed in crisp, yet fluffy rolls. Causa, a layered potato dish with chicken, and skewered beef heart anticucho, are some of the other Peruvian items on the menu. Smoothies incorporate tropical fruits. Peruvian packaged foods and other items are also for sale.
