Hoping to avoid hours of cooking and piles of dishes on Thanksgiving Day? Check out this list of both local and chain restaurants that will be open on Thursday, 11/28!

Keep in mind that only participating locations will be open so you may want to verify that your local restaurant is open for business before going out to eat. Hours will also vary during the holiday.

Bass Lake Draft House in Holly Springs will be open from 4:00 pm-Midnight on Thanksgiving, serving a limited menu. Football will be on the big screens and there are 34 taps for a wide selection of beer. They are located at 124 Bass Lake Rd, Holly Springs, NC.
Bonefish Grill in Fayetteville - On Thanksgiving Day, Bonefish Grill in Fayetteville is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and offering traditional and elevated Thanksgiving fare including a Turkey dinner, 8 ounce Filet, Seabass Imperial, Salmon and Lobster Stuffed Shrimp featuring Argentinian jumbo shrimp stuffed with a creamy Lobster Imperial topping, finished with a lemon caper butter sauce and served with two signature sides. Guests can make their reservation by calling the restaurant at 910-867-6847 or visiting them at 210 Glensford Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28314.
Applebee’s – Applebee’s is known for its combo deals (such as two entrees and an appetizer for $20). So Thanksgiving can be affordable as well as effortless. Many locations will be closing early, so check hours in advance.
Bob Evans — Bob Evans has dinner-for-four family meals. So think of it as a Thanksgiving family meal you don’t have to cook. If you do want to eat at home, the restaurant also offers a carry-out Farmhouse Feast that’s ready to heat and serve.
Boston Market – Most locations are open for dine-in, but check hours. The chain is already known for its affordability, but you can save even more on your Thanksgiving visit by joining its VIP club.
Buca di Beppo – Opens at 11 a.m. and is taking reservations for lunch and dinner. Thanksgiving menu includes special items (white meat turkey, homestyle gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, spicy Italian sausage stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie), as well as Buca di Beppo’s well-known Italian dishes. They also provide Thanksgiving catering and to-go meals.
Burger King – Only some are open (many are closed), so check your local BK for hours on Thanksgiving.
Cracker Barrel – Open regular hours.
Denny’s – Denny’s will be open regular hours. And some of its seasonal menu items are very Thanksgiving-friendly.
Fleming’s – Open starting 11 a.m. and offering a Thanksgiving Prix Fixe menu that includes a shared table appetizer, a first course of Lobster bisque or salad, a main course of turkey with cranberry, orange and cinnamon sauce and stuffing, various sides and choice of dessert.
Golden Corral – Open and offering a Thanksgiving Day buffet. Call your location to find out its special Thanksgiving hours.
Hooters – Enjoy Thanksgiving Day NFL games at Hooters at participating locations (not all locations will be open). Serving regular menu.
IHOP – Open, but hours will vary, and many locations will close early. Check your location’s Thanksgiving hours.
K&W Cafeteria – On Thanksgiving Day, K&W will serve a $7.99 meal that includes roast turkey with dressing and cranberry sauce, various sides and a drink.
Krispy Kreme: Sample the three new Easy as Pie Doughnuts, a collection of pie-inspired doughnuts with the Dutch Apple Pie, Chocolate Kreme Pie, and Cherry Pie. Find Easy as Pie doughnuts at participating locations through Thanksgiving Day.
Macaroni Grill – If you’re dining early, consider the three-course lunch option.
Maggiano’s – Maggiano’s is known for its family-style dining and will offer a four-course family-style dinner for Thanksgiving. Price may vary by location. The special Thanksgiving dine-in menu combines traditional Thanksgiving and Italian favorites. Reservations strongly recommended.
Marie Callender’s – Open and taking reservations for parties of eight or more. Adult meal is $21.99 and the children’s meal is $8.99. See menu here. Also providing take-out Thanksgiving dinners (available for pick-up after 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day).
McCormick & Schmick’s – Open, with a special Thanksgiving menu that includes roasted turkey and various traditional Thanksgiving sides. See full menu. Contact your location for pricing.
McDonald’s – Generally open, but may vary by franchise.
Metro Diner: Diners will remain open for table service and pickups until 2:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
Mimi’s Cafe – Dine-in guests can enjoy a three-course turkey supper (adult meal $18.99, kids’ meal $8.99). Includes starters, main course of roasted turkey, various sides and choice of dessert. See the whole menu here.
Morton’s Steakhouse – Opens at 1 p.m. for a steak dinner. Hours and pricing varies by location.
Pizza Inn: Celebrate the season with the returning Pumpkin Pizzert, which features a pumpkin and cinnamon filling topped with a brown sugar streusel mix and a sweet white icing drizzle. You can find the seasonal fan-favorite at participating locations as part of Pizza Inn’s All Day Buffet, which includes more than 40 items and salad bar.
Popeyes: Pre-order a Cajun-style Thanksgiving turkey starting at $39.99. Their Cajun-style turkeys range from 13 to 16 pounds, and are hand-rubbed with peppery Louisiana seasoning and precooked. Place your order now to ensure availability.
Red Lobster: – Starting Nov. 18, you can take advantage of the annual Create Your Own Ultimate Feast promotion for $29.99+. The feast includes a choice of four seafood items from three different categories, including one lobster item, one seafood favorite, and two shrimp classics. To complement the meal, you’ll receive a choice of salad, side, and unlimited Cheddar Bay Biscuits.
Ruby Tuesday – Some locations open during regular hours, serving regular menu.
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse – Participating locations will be open (hours vary). Those that are open will serve a three-course turkey dinner ($39.99 for adults; $12.95 for kids). Includes soup or salad, turkey breast with choice of side and pumpkin pie with ice cream for dessert. See the full menu here.
Ryan’s – Open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a Thanksgiving menu for those dining in.
Shoney’s – Open with Thanksgiving buffet at participating locations. The All You Care to Eat, Freshly Prepared Thanksgiving Day Feast, starts at $12.99. Prices may vary by location. A FREE slice of Pumpkin Pie comes with every Thanksgiving Day Feast purchase.
Seasons 52: Dine on a traditional turkey dinner for $29.95 per adult or $14.95 per kid. The “Never Ever” turkey dinner includes antibiotic-free turkey, pan gravy, Yukon mashed potatoes, herb stuffing, green beans, mashed butternut squash, housemade cranberry relish, and a pumpkin pie Mini Indulgence.
Smokey Bones: From 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, feast on the full menu of burgers and barbecue, such as the house-smoked turkey breast rubbed with spices and hickory. Smokey Bones will also be taking online and catering orders. In addition, get $10 in Bonus Bucks for every $50 in gift cards purchased between Nov. 14 through Dec. 28.
Starbucks – Open this year as usual, providing a place to stop for your caffeine fix on your way to see family. And, as usual, there are holiday beverages to choose from.
Ted’s Montana Grill – Select locations will be open for Thanksgiving Day, with a special menu. That menu includes a turkey feast (prices vary by location) that includes a soup or salad, various sides and apple pecan crisp for dessert. Regular-menu items will also be available. TGI Fridays -Some locations will be open. No special menu, but, if you want a big meal, TGI Fridays has options like the Fridays Big Ribs.
The Capital Grille – Open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a special Thanksgiving menu that includes slow-roasted turkey with brioche stuffing, various sides and dessert. Adult meal is $39 and the kids’ meal is $15. Regular menu also available.
Waffle House – Open at some locations with regular menu. Check hours.
Zoe’s Kitchen: Order the Mediterranean Thanksgiving takeout meal starting at $129.99.

Each dinner feeds 10 guests and includes a starter option, entree, and two sides with Yaya’s Chocolate Cake for dessert.
