Good afternoon. I'm meteorologist, Amy Wilmoth. Here in the WRL severe Weather center, we have quiet weather in the forecast for the next several days. Temperatures will be warm in the afternoon and comfortable in the mornings. High pressure just to the north of us will keep our weather nice and quiet. We'll have plenty of sunshine in the days ahead and temperatures are going to kind of switch this week, temperatures are warm, but then over the weekend and into next week, we will have below normal temperatures. It's thanks to a pretty strong cold front that arrives late Friday and a Saturday. Here's a look at future cast and watch up in Canada, those shades of blues and greens, those start to arrive into North Carolina over the weekend. So it will turn cooler and feel like fall over the weekend. Highs could stay in the sixties on Sunday with low temperatures perhaps in the forties. Today, we'll have a high of 83 81 Tuesday, 80 on Wednesday and then 79 for both Thursday and Friday. The normal high this time of year is 78. So temperatures running just a little bit above normal this week. But then looking ahead to Sunday morning, it is going to be chilly. Many of us waking up to temperatures in the forties. 49 is our forecast low for Sunday morning for the triangle area. So warm over the next few days. But look at the morning lows down into the fifties. So it's still comfortable in the morning and then that cold front arrives late Friday. Notice our rain chances are pretty much nothing, just a 20% chance for rain as we head into overnight Friday and a Saturday. So not a lot of moisture to work with this, with this front as it moves through. But it will drop temperatures 75 for the high Saturday. Saturday night will drop to 49 and then Sunday, we will have sunshine with highs in the upper sixties.
