As a kid growing up in Morganton I rooted for NC State but went to Duke University for several summer basketball camps. Later I graduated from UNC. So I have a deep appreciation for the rich basketball traditions in our state.
The Duke-UNC clash is always keenly anticipated. Tonight's match-up could go down to the wire. The so-called experts are predicting a ten point win for Duke. 99.9's Adam Gold today forecast a Carolina upset while his colleague Joe Ovies predicts the Carolina freshmen are not quite ready to stand up to Cameron pressure cooker.
If I were a betting man I'd say the final score will be Duke 83, UNC 75. However, I do think the Tar Heels will win in the Chapel Hill rematch.
