Lost black whippet dog in Raleigh area last year. Didn’t have any hope left for finding her until I recently found her picture posted on WRAL back in December 2009 (http://www.wral.com/golo/image/6662788/).
This dog has been abused before so she’s still a little skittish and scared with new people. I had her for years and named her Maddie.
