We got Naomi our Chow Mix from Animal Haven when she was 7 weeks old (December 1992) when my husband & I came back from Germany. Naomi was an excellent dog to us during our time of need. She passed away in October 2005 at the age of 13.
Silkie was adopted at 8 weeks old from a friend of mine after I got out of the hospital in 1995. She was more than a dasuchaund mix; she was my therapy dog during my recovery from mental illness. She passed away in Feburary 2007 at the age of 11.
