Susan Orenstein, a doctoral level psychologist who specializes in couples counseling at Orenstein Solutions, is back with one more tip this week. This time she's talking about how to bring up sensitive topics with your significant other.

A gentle invitation, not a harsh demand, is the best way to start the conversation, Orenstein tells me.

Watch the video for more. Go to Orenstein Solutions' website for more about the group, which has offices in Cary and Chapel Hill, and what it offers, including counseling for couples, kids, individuals and families and workshops.

The group will hold a free open house 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 24 with psychologist Lisa Sacco, who will help parents of teens understand normal development and how to stay sane and calm. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Call 428-2766, ext.5 to leave your name, email or phone to be registered.

And check the box above for more tips from Susan. You'll hear more from Orenstein Solutions in a few weeks. This time, the focus is raising teens.
