It's nearly here! Go Ask Mom's big event at North Hills in Raleigh is on Tuesday.
We'll be on the Commons from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. during North Hills regular programming for kids. They'll bring big blocks for the kids to play on. We'll bring a fire truck from First-In Fire Company; a fun activity from Lil' Chef, the cooking studio for kids and teens at North Hills; free child IDs from the Wake County Sheriff's Office; the Chick-fil-A cow; snacks; and more.
We'll also be collecting birthday party kits to donate to the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and will have supplies for kids to make birthday cards to include with the kits. The kits will go to needy kids in our community. Please read this earlier post for more information about how you and your kids can help.
And ... oh yes ... we'll have a contest too: Four tickets for the Magic Wings Festival on May 5 at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham.
