Good morning. I'm meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner. We had a cold front move through yesterday. Of course, we had showers and thunderstorms along with that, mainly in our southern counties. This morning, we still have a few isolated showers that are going to be with us. You around the middle of the morning after that, we'll see partly to mostly cloudy skies. We definitely have some gray skies. We should see some sunshine and today looks like it's probably going to be the driest day of the week. So hopefully you can get out and enjoy it. You can see early this morning where the showers, um, started up and again by around eight or nine, those showers tapering off again, some potential for cloud cover on and off, but some sunshine especially as we get through the afternoon and we should stay dry during the daylight hours, but there may be a few more sprinkles dropping out of the north or an isolated shower or storm after dinner time. Take a look at Durham this morning and you can see a good bit of cloud cover this morning to start with as well as some damp streets. You can see it's pretty wet there outside of the DPC, 64 degrees. So our temperatures are in the mid 60 s to start with this morning and it will be a nice mild afternoon. 81 in Raleigh, 80 in Durham and 82 in Fayetteville. And our humidity is going to be sort of middle of the road, not real low but not real high either. We check out the Cannes game, of course, big game game six there at PNC Arena. It should be great for tailgating. Temperatures will be fine, 80 degrees at four o'clock, partly to mostly cloudy. But during the game, we should be dry. The only chance we might have of seeing some rain would be when you're coming out of the game, there could be an isolated shower or thunderstorm are muggy meters sitting at tolerable today. Not bad again, kind of middle of the road. But as we get into a better chance of showers and thunderstorms, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we're going to see that bump back up to tropical. It drops a little bit into early next week. As a matter of fact, it may be fairly comfortable for Monday and Tuesday looks like it's going to be a wet weekend for us, mid to late afternoon, Friday and overnight we'll have the chance for scattered storms Saturday. We already have a level one risk for Saturday for most of the viewing area and both days, Saturday and Sunday look like we'll have a good chance of scattered showers and storms.
