Kyle Busch remembered for helping couples pay for fertility treatments to build families

NASCAR legend Kyle Busch is being remembered not just for the impact he had on the racing community, but also for the life-changing impact he had on couples struggling with fertility.

Busch and his wife Samantha have helped bring more than 100 babies into the world through their Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund.

Among those who have benefited is the Wallace family in Dallas, North Carolina.

Kinsey and Alex Wallace received a $20,000 grant from the Fund to help them pay for fertility treatments in 2018. Their first born, Adleigh, was born in 2019. 

“When we met [Kyle and Samantha], we learned quickly that they are just remarkable people, both of them,” said Kinsey Wallace.

Since receiving that grant, the Wallaces have kept in touch with the Busch family through the tight-knit Bundle of Joy community. Kinsey says Kyle was always generous with his time.

“He was always super kind, always came to us at every event and hugged our necks, asked us how the kids were,” said Wallace.

According to its website, the Bundle of Joy Fund has awarded over 150 grants valued at more than $2 million.

Since Busch’s passing, donations to the Bundle of Joy Fund have poured in.  Many donations are in the amount of $18 or include the number eight, a tribute to Busch who drove the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro for Richard Childress Racing.

On Friday, Richard Childress Racing posted to X that the organization would be suspending use of the No. 8.

Wallace hopes people continue to support the Busch family’s mission to help couples build families.

“I pray that we can make it a goal that we can continue to push this extremely hard, because I think that would make them happy more than anything, Wallace said.
