Scotty McCreery welcomes second child with his wife, Gabi

Scotty McCreery and his wife, Gabi Dugal, announced the birth of their second child on Tuesday. 

Oliver Cooke McCreery was born on Thursday, Sept. 18, the couple announced on Instagram. Oliver has a big brother, Avery, who was born in October 2022. 

"Can’t imagine life without him, we love him so berry much!!," Gabi posted with a blueberry emoji.

According to the couple, their 2-year-old suggested the baby should be named "Bo-Berry."

Scotty McCreery, who won Season 10 of "American Idol" at the age of 17, and his wife are both Garner natives. The high school sweethearts met in kindergarten and got married in 2018 in the North Carolina mountains.

Earlier this year, Scotty McCreery posted in a heartfelt message on Facebook that both of his grandmothers passed away on the same day.
