Lejeune Marine killed in Afghanistan
Lance Cpl. Terry E. Honeycutt Jr., 19, of Waldorf, Md., died Wednesday of wounds received Oct. 21 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, officials said.
Posted — UpdatedCAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. — A Camp Lejeune Marine died Wednesday in Afghanistan, the Department of Defense announced Friday.
Lance Cpl. Terry E. Honeycutt Jr., 19, of Waldorf, Md., died of wounds received Oct. 21 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, officials said.
Honeycutt was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force.
