A Camp Lejeune Marine was killed Sunday in Afghanistan, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Posted — UpdatedCAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. — A Camp Lejeune Marine was killed Sunday in Afghanistan, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Cpl. Aaron M. Faust, 22, of Louisville, Ky., died while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, officials said.
Faust was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force.
The case remains under investigation, officials said.
