Sanford, N.C. — A water-and-sewer utility company serving a portion of southern Lee County will go before the N.C. Utilities Commission on Oct. 21 for approval of a 102 percent, a commission spokesman said Thursday.
Illinois-based Utilities Inc. serves the Carolina Trace community, located near the Lee-Harnett county line.
Any rate increases requested by the company have to be approved by the commission.
