I featured Babiology, the new, ultra-cute children's consignment store in Raleigh, the other month.

The store, opened by two local moms, will be having a special event this weekend that they're calling Denim and Diapers. The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the store on Fairview Road in Raleigh's Five Points.

The event will feature a selection of premium maternity denim and gently used cloth diapers to consign. The store also will be discounting some of their new diapers 30 percent to 50 percent off.

And if you're considering cloth diapering, here's another reason to go. At 10 a.m., the store will hold a cloth diapering class with demonstrations on the different types of diapers and the process for using and cleaning them. The Diapering Doula will be there to talk about her services as a doula and a diaper cleaning service. And a Durham mom, who makes cloth diapers and also refurbishes and converts diapers to snaps or Velcro, will also be part of the event.

For the kids, a face painter will be there from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

It's a big weekend for Five Points. A farmers market will have its grand opening just down the street from Babiology from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
