Durham, N.C. — The Durham Athletic Park is getting a makeover.
The Durham City Council approved a $5 million renovation project for the landmark stadium. When the renovations are completed, Minor League Baseball plans to use the site as a training facility.
Baseball officials are also considering building a museum at the DAP. The ballpark was the former home of the Durham Bulls and was featured in the movie "Bull Durham."
