Large fire destroys Selma home
An old Selma home was heavily damaged by a fire early Sunday morning.
Posted — UpdatedSELMA, N.C. — An old Selma home was heavily damaged by a fire early Sunday morning.
Flames were shooting through the roof when first responders arrived at the home on Watson Street around 4 .am. The massive fire lit up the night sky and could be seen from miles away.
At least three fire departments fought the early morning blaze. The house was vacant at the time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
