<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Traffic was not moving Tuesday on Interstate-440 eastbound near Crabtree Valley Mall.

Two right lanes were closed around 7:30 a.m. near Exit 7 for Glenwood Avenue and Crabtree Valley Mall. By 8:45 a.m., traffic was slowly improving.

By 9:30 a.m., all lanes had reopened and traffic was moving.

Officials said an obstruction in the road caused the closure. WRAL photojournalists saw crews cleaning the road, but it is unclear what was blocking the lanes.
