The "Power" actress is set to play play Shay, the wife of Brian Austin Green's character.

Anthony is the first non-alum of the original hit 1990s series "Beverly Hills 90210" to be announced for the revival.

According to EW, the new show is titled "BH90210" and will feature the actors playing "heightened" versions of themselves as they come together for a possible reboot of their famed series.

On Monday Antony told "Entertainment Tonight" at the 2019 Council of Fashion Designers of America awards ceremony in New York City that she was excited about the role.

"I'm glad they're bringing some color to the show," she said. "I'm really excited about that."

Anthony, who has spoken before about being a Black-Puerto Rican, flew in for the awards from Canada where she has been filming the new show.

"I had a chemistry read with Brian and he was amazing and we hit it off," she said. "I think we're going to make some great television."

The six-episode series is set to premiere August 7 on Fox.
