RALEIGH, N.C. — One of the Triangle's largest Latin American culture festivals will return this fall with an in-person event.
La Fiesta del Pueblo will hold its festival on Fayetteville Street on Sunday, Sept. 18, from noon to 6 p.m., nonprofit El Pueblo announced Friday.

"As someone who has worked on the planning of La Fiesta del Pueblo for 15 years, returning to an in-person Fiesta in downtown Raleigh is like returning home," said Mike Figueras, Development Strategist at El Pueblo. "After the last few years of the pandemic, it's going to be a joyous occasion to be able to celebrate with our community in person once again."

The festival has been held virtually for the past two years.

El Pueblo is accepting applications for food vendors, artisanal vendors, non-profit organizations, performers of all varieties and country-specific organizations. Organizations can apply on the El Pueblo website before July 29.
