Randy Clemmons, 41, of 5836 Steward Dr., Knightdale, allegedly abused the girl between January and August of this year. 

KNIGHTDALE, N.C. — A Knightdale man was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with raping a 13-year-old girl.

Randy Clemmons, 41, of 5836 Steward Dr., Knightdale, allegedly abused the girl between January and August of this year.

He was charged with one count of statutory rape and two counts of indecent liberties with a minor, according to authorities. The girl knew Clemmons, but their relationship was not released.

Clemons was held on $500,000 bond. He's due in court Tuesday morning.
