Kitchen fire forces family of 5 out of Fayetteville home
A family of five was forced out of their home Tuesday morning due to a kitchen fire.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A family of five was forced out of their home Tuesday morning due to a kitchen fire.
Before 7 a.m, the Fayetteville Fire Department responded to a fire at the two-story home on Ira Street.
Two adults and three children were already outside.
Firefighters disconnected the power and extinguished a fire in the kitchen, which caused an estimated $10,000 worth of damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The American Red Cross is assisting the family.
