CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Got a Teddy Bear in need of some TLC? Bring that bear to Kidzu Children's Museum in Chapel Hill.

Starting Friday, Feb. 11, the museum will be offering a Teddy Bear Clinic during four general admission sessions each week.

Students from UNC-Chapel Hill pre-professional programs will be volunteering for the exhibit and helping children get their bears healthy with a wellness check-up and administering a vaccine to their bear.

If children do not have a bear, the clinic will have some bears available for children to borrow for use in the clinic.

Clinics will be held each week on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. On Fridays, clinics will be held from 10 a.m to noon and 3 to 5 p.m.

The clinic is included with regular museum admission. Kidzu admission is free to children under 1 years old, but you still need to reserve a ticket. Admission for everyone else is $8.50. Tickets are limited each day to help promote safe group distancing.

Kidzu requires all  visitors age 2 and up are required to wear a mask while inside Kidzu Children's Museum, regardless of vaccine status.

Kidzu Children's Museum is located at 201 S. Estes Drive in Chapel Hill.
