CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Just a quick mention that Kidzu Children's Museum is again offering its summer memberships.

These are great options for families who are crazy busy during the school year, but have more downtime for museum play during the summer.

The summer memberships are available through July 31 and provide three months of free play inside the museum.

Members visit the Chapel Hill museum for free during general admission and member morning sessions. They also get discounts on camps and other programs.

The membership costs $60 total for up to four individuals. Admission fees are $8.50 for everybody age 12 months and up. So a family of four would need to go to Kidzu just twice to more than make up for the summer membership cost.

More information is on Kidzu's website.

Something to know: Masks are required for all Kidzu staff and visitors over the age of 5, regardless of their vaccination status, according to the museum.
