Kids Exchange consignment sale opens to the public this week
The massive Kids Exchange children's consignment sale at the NC State Fairgrounds is open to the public this week.
Posted — UpdatedHundreds of shoppers and sellers are expected to converge at the sale, which features just about everything a baby or child could need.
Kids Exchange is the largest kids consignment sale in the nation.
Public shopping hours are
- 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 24
- 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 25
- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 26, when many items are half off.
It's free to shop Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but the sale will hold a ticketed Kids Exchange Eve Sale to the general public from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 23. To get in, you'll need to purchase a $10 ticket in advance. All shoppers must preregister online.
Experts advise that parents always check out items online – by brand and model number – when they buy used.
