KFC Restaurant Robbed at Gunpoint

Burlington, N.C. — Burlington police are looking for an armed robber who held up a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant.
Just after 12 a.m. Sunday, police Sgt. C. E. Gaddis said a masked gunman walked up to KFC employees as they were exiting the restaurant on Huffman Mill Rd..
The suspect had a handgun and forced the employees back inside.
The employees gave the suspect money from the cash register; he then left the restaurant. No one was injured.
The suspect was described as a black male, 5’ 9” and approximately 200 lbs. with a light skin tone complexion. He was wearing a dark green jacket over a white shirt and green camouflage pants. A black colored ski- type mask was covering his face and head.
