Kazoom increases ticket price, sets new schedule for spring
The long-running puppet show, great for toddlers and preschoolers especially, is making some changes.
Posted — UpdatedMs. Poly and Ms. Ester of Kazoom Puppet Theatre in Raleigh are making some changes to what has been until now a twice a week puppet show.
In an email message, the pair (Carolyn Johnson and Helen Dawkins in real life) wrote that the show will now be open generally on the first and third Wednesday and Thursday of each month during the school year from September to May. In June, July and August, they'll return to their original schedule with shows every Wednesday and Thursday (except July 13 and July 14).
The ticket price also increased from $4 per person to $5 per person. The new schedule and ticket price went into effect this week.
"We hated to do this, but everything's gone up," they wrote.
