<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A kayaker was rescued at Lake Johnson on Saturday after the boat overturned.

Officials say the person was taken to the hospital following the rescue.

The public is able to rent paddle boats and kayaks from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. May through September at the park located at 4601 Avent Ferry Road.
