Johnston County OKs mixed-use development
The River Oaks development would bring more than 1 million square feet of retail, residential and office space to the area Interstate 40 and N.C. Highway 42.
Posted — UpdatedJohnston County commissioners approved a proposal Monday night for a retail development to be located at the intersection of Interstate 40 and N.C. Highway 42.
The River Oaks development would bring more than 1 million square feet of retail, residential and office space to the area.
The county predicted construction on the project would begin within three years.
