WILSON MILLS, NC — Smoke alarms were blaring when firefighters arrived at a Johnston County mobile home on Sunday morning.

WRAL News crews on the scene saw heavy smoke coming out from under the structure.

Firefighters were able to quickly control the blaze, keeping the fire from entering the inside of the home. Crews from Clayton, Wilson's Mills and Smithfield all responded.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Fire Chief suspects an electrical problem in the heating system was the cause.

The American Red Cross is helping two people who were displaced.
