CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Parrotheads in Charlotte will need to wait a little longer to see Jimmy Buffett on stage.

Concert promoter Live Nation has announced that Buffett's show scheduled for Saturday at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte has been postponed due to the threat of extreme cold and rain.

Buffett's music can be heard in the new Broadway musical, Escape to Margaritaville. The show opened in mid-March and tells the story of a relaxed island paradise and its inhabitants.
