Raleigh, N.C. — Second lady Jill Biden plans to campaign in North Carolina on Friday after postponing appearances last weekend because of Hurricane Sandy.
The wife of Vice President Joe Biden will appear in Asheville on Friday morning and Huntersville that afternoon to discuss what's at stake in the election and encourage people to vote.
Jill Biden was supposed to appear in both cities last Sunday, but she said she didn't want to distract state and local officials from dealing with Sandy.
