MORRISVILLE, N.C. — A JetBlue flight from Boston to Palm Beach, Fla., was forced to make an emergency landing at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport Monday night, according to an airport spokesperson.

JetBlue Flight 221 suffered a mechanical problem, spokesman Andrew Sawyer said. The plane landed with emergency protocol, but made it to the gate on its own power.

Sawyer said 58 people were on board.

No injuries were reported.

[Correction: A previous version of this story misattributed information to RDU spokesman Andrew Sawyer. The online article originally reported that an odor was smelled on board and that passengers were being checked out by emergency crews, but that was not correct. That information was removed from the story.]
