MORRISVILLE, N.C. — JetBlue plans to add seven destinations to its schedule at Raleigh-Durham International Airport next year, officials said Thursday.

The airline will add daily service to Austin, Texas; Newark, N.J.; and Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa, Fla. on Feb. 11. Daily service to San Francisco and Las Vegas will begin on March 4.

JetBlue added flights include Cancun, Mexico; Montego Bay, Jamaica; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Fort Myers, Fla., last month, and its first nonstop flight to Los Angeles takes off Friday.

The latest additions will bring JetBlue’s network at RDU to 15 nonstop markets – up from three a year ago – tying it with Southwest Airlines for the most nonstop markets served from RDU, officials said.

Meanwhile, American Airlines will resume nonstop service to Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 7, officials said.
