Jeff Kinney, author of Wimpy Kid series, to stop in Raleigh with new book; tickets going fast
Jeff Kinney, author of the insanely popular Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series for kids, will make a stop in Raleigh on Nov. 5 to talk about his latest - Wimpy Kid #13: The Meltdown.

Quail Ridge Books is bringing the author to Raleigh for the special event, which will take place at Ravenscroft in north Raleigh. The one-hour event starts at 6 p.m. and, according to the description, will include lots of Wimpy Kid humor, trivia, cartooning, audience participation opportunities and ... potentially "snowball fights."
There will be a meet and greet with Kinney after the show (though he won't be signing books).
To get into the show, you'll need to purchase the new book from Quail Ridge through a special Eventbrite link. The book is $18.99. With the purchase of the book, you'll have the option of also getting a free companion ticket - so adults actually can go with their kids.
