BLOUNTVILLE, TENN. — Sullivan County jail records reveal Megan Boswell, the mother at the center of a statewide Amber alert, is not pregnant.
Megan Boswell previously stated to WCYB in an interview that she was pregnant, which is why she was not able to take a polygraph test.
"I am pregnant ... that's why they wont give me a polygraph. Due to policy if you are pregnant they will not give you one," Boswell told WCYB.
Sheriff Jeff Cassidy stated in a press conference on Wednesday that Boswell, the mother of missing 15-month-old baby Evelyn, has made inaccurate statements to police before.
