Jacksonville man faces human trafficking charges in Raleigh

Raleigh police have arrested a Jacksonville man on four counts of human trafficking involving four different women.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police have charged a Jacksonville man with four counts of human trafficking.

Eric Javon Thompson, 26, was arrested Tuesday on the charges as well as two counts of assault by strangulation and one count of common law robbery.

Arrest warrants allege that he held the female victims in involuntary servitude between November and June. Police would not provide any other information about the allegations.

Thompson was in the Wake County jail under a $1.02 million bond Wednesday.
