GREENSBORO, N.C. — Rapper J. Cole is responding to a big mess that had North Carolina concertgoers furious on social media.

J. Cole took to Instagram Tuesday night to explain why it took hours before anyone was even let inside the Greensboro Coliseum. The show was supposed to start at 8 p.m., but doors didn't open until 10:15 p.m.

"We been hitting delays on shows because the production is taking too long for the crew to put up," an Instagram post on J. Cole's Instagram account read. "I apologize for the inconvenience. I hate playing with peoples time and money. We working to get it sorted out. Greensboro we going up tonight, I’m sorry for your delay."

Before the Fayetteville rapper's apology, people were posting to social media to show their frustration while waiting in line.
