RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina's own J. Cole will hold a music festival in Raleigh this fall.
Dreamville Festival, which will feature local music, culture, food and art, will be held at Dorothea Dix Park on Sept. 15, the rapper announced Friday. The multi-stage festival will include a mix of up-and-comers and national acts. The full lineup will be released in the coming weeks. It is expected to be an annual festival.
The announcement comes a week after J. Cole's latest album, KOD, dropped.

J. Cole was born in Germany, but was raised in Fayetteville.

Dreamville Festival

“Our entire Dreamville team is proud to finally unveil today details about Dreamville Festival, something which has been a long-time dream for all of us, especially Cole,” said Ibrahim “IB” Hamad, president of Dreamville Records and J. Cole’s manager. “We hope to give back to the community with a celebration of all the things that makes Raleigh and North Carolina itself so great - music, food, art, culture and more. This event will ultimately give Cole a chance to make a direct impact to the people that helped shape who he is today.”

A limited number of early-bird general admission tickets ($49) and VIP passes (starting at $89) for fans who sign up on the Dreamville Fest website. Regularly priced tickets, general admission ($59) and VIP (starting at $99), go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 30. Prices will rise as the festival gets closer.

VIP packages include perks like early festival entry, premium viewing areas, access to a VIP bar and restrooms.

The Dreamville Festival will donate proceeds to the Dorothea Dix Park Conservancy and the Dreamville Foundation, a nonprofit J.Cole founded in 2011 to “bridge the gap” between the worlds of opportunity and the urban youth of Fayetteville.
