RALEIGH, N.C. — Isolated storms popped up across the Triangle on Sunday evening, and there's a good chance that the start of the workweek could be wet as well.

WRAL meteorologist Kat Campbell said you will want to have your umbrella with you Monday morning.

There's 60 percent chance for rain on Monday, which will be slightly cooler because of the precipitation.

"We could see some rain into Monday," Campbell said. "An isolated storm is possible for the morning commute."

Stronger storms, with frequent lightning and rain are possible in the afternoon, she said.

7-Day Forecast

The high temperature will top out in the mid-80s with lows in the 60s.
