Investigators: Man pawned stolen guns, musical instruments

A Fayetteville man has been accused of breaking into homes Tuesday and pawning stolen firearms and musical instruments.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville man has been accused of breaking into homes Tuesday and pawning stolen firearms and musical instruments.

Cumberland County investigators believe that Didier Patrick Nash, 50, broke into homes in the 2500 block of Lakeview Drive and 4500 block of Virsalli Loop and stole the weapons and instruments. He later went to a pawn shop and exchanged the stolen items for money, authorities said.

Nash, of 2105 Qualridge Drive, was arrested early Friday on a list of charges, including breaking and entering, larceny of a firearm, possesesion of a stolen firearm and obtaining property by false pretense.

He was placed n the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $12,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was set for Monday.
