Interstate 95 reopened after Johnston County wreck

Emergency dispatchers said the wreck happened at mile marker 95, a few miles north of Benson, around 11:30 a.m. Injured victims are being transported to WakeMed in Raleigh.

BENSON, N.C. — Interstate 95 North in Johnston County has been reopened after a wreck late Saturday morning.

Emergency dispatchers said the wreck happened at mile marker 95, a few miles north of Benson, around 11:30 a.m. Injured victims were transported to WakeMed in Raleigh.

No more details about the wreck were available. State troopers responded to the wreck.

All four northbound lanes were closed for about two hours.
