MORRISVILLE, N.C. — Most flights schedule to arrive or depart on Southwest Airlines were delayed on Saturday morning at Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

A spokesperson for the airlines said they experienced "intermittent technology issues that occurred during overnight maintenance."

Early Saturday morning onthe RDU website, most Southwest Airlines flights showed up as delayed.

One from Baltimore, MD, was delayed from 9:15 a.m. until 11:42 a.m. while another from Orlando, FL, was delayed from 10:35 a.m. until 12:33 p.m.

"We'll continue to update customers who journey with us [Saturday] might be delayed as result of the now-resolved issues," a Southwest Airlines spokesperson said in a statement.

It's always a best practice to check flight status – whether you are traveling or expecting someone who is – on the WRAL Flight Tracker.
