For 8th day in a row, more than 1,100 in NC hospitals being treated for coronavirus — North Carolina reported 1,144 new coronavirus cases on Monday, a dip from recent days when the average has been over 2,000 new cases. More than 1,100 people remain hospitalized with the virus across the state.
