<p>Best just to be clear, Gabby had four lbs. There weren't step pounds. She had four parents that genuinely loved her as if she was her own And this man is one Yeah, it's hard to see behind us, but I still see cabbie is this the world sees this, but like joe said this, this is what I, what I see. This is when I got to be blessed to know Gabby um you all got to see our extended family, the firehouse family come through here and that's what we're gonna do. We do, we do funerals unfortunately and we're good at it, done throughout my career. I've written eulogies plan these funerals, not one of them could ever planned or prepared before. This motive. My grandmother told me that she's gonna be 100 next month. When we buried my mom earlier this year. Parents aren't supposed to bury their Children. This is not how life is supposed to work, but it is an unfortunate reality. I spent a good portion of my life working and trying to earn money to provide for our family and our kids to give them the best life, Gabby at 22 years old. Help teach me. You can always make money but you can't make up for lost time. Gabby loved life and lived her life every single day every day. That so see you as this child lived her life. Mhm. She's an example for all of us to live by, to enjoy every moment in this beautiful world as she did love and give love to all. Like she did Gabby had a tattoo on her own that red, Let it be the title of a song from a van. She loved beautiful thing about music. This can mean so many different things to so many different people. There's a verse from that song that speaks to me when the broken hearted people living in the world agree there will be an answer. Let it be. It's okay to mourn for Gabby. It's okay to feel sorrow and pain. But we want to celebrate her and how she lives her life. We will need to hold on to all of those wonderful memories we shared with because that will be the answer. Let it be right. Let it be. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I'm never short of words but I've been up for days weeks now with this the love and support from everybody from all across the world. It's absolutely amazing. We thank all of you for remembering her and celebrating her because this is what it is. It's about celebrating a beautiful person in a beautiful salt. Although there was a lot of evil and wrong in the world, there was more good and there was a lot of good people out there and they're all in this room right now. They're all across the world. I'm here with us all. I love you wolf. She Mhm. So uh Absolutely. Yeah. Mhm. Uh huh. Yeah. Hey gentlemen, thank you so much for sharing. Yeah. And uhh you just thank you for for letting us get to know Gabby what an amazing woman she was and it's safe to say that she's touched all of us, not just here in this chapel today, but everyone across the country in the world. Um And so I'd like to just share with you the palm that's on the back of her prayer card. Yes. Do not grieve for me for I am free. I am traveling a path of the Lord has taken me. You're not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow perhaps my time seemed to brief do not lengthen it on degrees, lift up your hearts and share with me the memories that will always be and we just thank you for for again letting us get to know Gabby and and sharing this time with the community and letting us come together as a community to grieve her loss but also celebrate her life. And so with that at this time we're gonna be opening the doors to the public, we will be putting this tensions in the front here and so that there's a nice flow of people coming in. If anyone needs anything at all. Our entire staff, it's here for you. So please don't hesitate to ask for anything that you need. I'm meteorologist K Campbell in the wr severe weather center. Here's your weekend forecast looks pretty good. On Saturday, there is a small chance for rain. That would be first thing very early in the morning in our northern counties. The rest of the day looks pretty good, partly cloudy, mid to perhaps upper seventies. By Sunday, it's much cooler. Highs struggle to get into the sixties even. It's a cloudy day and we've got some scattered showers in the forecast Sunday, but we're on the stable side of the front. So we're not severe weather on Sunday and we really could use some rain. We'll get to that in a minute. Let's talk about your Saturday planner because that's going to be the day to be outside 63 at 8 a.m. by noon, 71 and will be in the mid to upper seventies during the afternoon. Still in the low to mid seventies by dinner time. Future cash shows pretty quiet, start to the day. Perhaps a few showers in our northern counties and cloud cover to start, but those clouds clear and we'll see more sunshine later on before we cloud back overnight into Sunday morning. Scattered showers are possible throughout the first part of the day, Sunday and then we'll see a band of steadier rain make its way in as we head into Sunday evening and perhaps Sunday night as well. Early on, we need any rain, we can get the drought monitor showing an expanded region for abnormally dry and yellow. That's the morning stage before you reach drought status. So we really need some rain to prevent drought from developing as we head into the month of May. The system that's bringing our rain chances for your Friday night is this area of low pressure along with a cold front draped to the south. That cold front is going to knock temperatures down as well. We're down to 46 degrees on Monday morning, 44 we had to lower the low Tuesday morning because there's not likely to be as much cloud cover and that's going to allow temperatures to fall even further. But for the weekend morning will wake up to temperatures near 60 Saturday morning and in the lower fifties again on Sunday morning. If you are running the Tar Heel 10 miler, we got some pretty nice weather for it. A 20% chance for rain for early on. Otherwise temperatures will be in the low to mid 60 s. Looks like some pretty good running weather for us. Looking ahead to next week, we're still on the cooler side start 66. But Monday trending more sunshine And then as we get into Tuesday, Wednesday, we're likely to be back in the seventies, Wednesday. We've got a cold front coming the way it looks now. Only a small 20% chance for rain with the front, but it is going to knock temperatures down again. Not as dramatic but low temperatures could be back in the upper forties with highs in the upper sixties to lower seventies toward the end of next week.
