Sky 5 showed the large backups forming on I-95. At noon, a bulldozer was being used to clear bits of charred tractor trailer from the road.

WRAL News was working to learn what caused the crash and if anyone was injured.

All northbound traffic was being diverted on Hodges Chapel Road. Southbound traffic was still moving freely.

As a detour, drivers can use U.S. Route 301 for an alternate route between Benson and Dunn.
