Four Oaks, N.C. — A tractor-trailer hit a bridge support on Interstate 95 northbound in Johnston County just after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Both lanes of I-95 north were closed south of Smithfield while N.C. Department of Transportation crews inspected the bridge. The highway re-opened at about 5:15 p.m.
No one was injured, and the bridge sustained only minor damage.
